NMDC procures 2 drones from Marut Drones

Drone manufacturer Marut Drones on Tuesday said it has delivered the first-ever Mineral Exploration Drones in India to National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC). NMDC has procured two customised Octacopter drones from Marut Drones.

Marut Drones in a press release said that the Mineral Exploration Drone features advanced sensors such as Magnetometer, Hyperspectral, and Lidar, leading to accurate exploration and mapping. Its coaxial design ensures stability and facilitates precise maneuverability.

Prem Kumar Vislawath, CEO, Marut Drones, said: “This is the first time in India, where we have built a drone for mineral exploration. It is an Octaquad Coaxial X8 drone, we have specially designed for NMDC.”
